Kids Room Christmas Decorating: Part Two

For the last few days we have spent a little bit of time getting a small Christmas tree ready for Rosie and Harry's room.
The idea of putting a mini Christmas tree in your child's room was one I heard about several years ago and it is a lovely way of displaying their hand made decorations from school, as well as other special treasures.
Rosie picked out these beautiful white wooden Christmas trees to decorate their tree and we picked up the smallest Christmas tree we could find at the shops.
Rosie took great care in displaying each ornament and was very engrossed in this task for quite some time!
Of course, we needed a few other small decorations as well so we decided on a red, blue and white theme to match their room and some extra special ornaments we already owned.
Three years ago Rosie and Harry's lovely caregiver had these gorgeous personalised ornaments made for them as a Christmas present. They love seeing their names printed on each one!
Rosie and Harry love their new tree and are looking forward to adding their own decorations from school and preschool.
Tomorrow I will be sharing our Christmas doily snowflake decorations. :)
