"Parky"

This is Harrys name for any park which contains playground equipment. Last weekend Ken and Caro came to stay with us for a couple of days before flying back to the UK and we visited the "parky" along the Auckland waterfront.

It was a great end to a perfect winter's day in Auckland. It was beautifully clear and sunny and we travelled on the ferry from Devonport to the city.

We then walked up to Sky City's Observatory Restaurant for lunch and caught the ferry back to Devonport.

Visiting the "parky" and walking along the waterfront was a great way to try and work off some of our buffet lunch! :-)
